Here are a few pictures of Rose Bernd, a production I assistant directed late 2012. Jonathan Martin directed the new translation/adaptation by Dennis Kelly at the Platform Theatre.
Here's a picture of the whole cast of Rose Bernd - including the first years who filled out some of the smaller roles for the show. I managed to sneak my way as AD into the very right of the picture. Had a great time working with a fantastic cast - wonderful memories!
Here's a look at our fantastic set for Rose Bernd, designed by Mark Friend. Above the photo, being flown up is a slanted roof which gave some scenes a more claustrophobic indoors feel. Photo was taken during the tech of the show.
Flamm, played by Joshua Hill, gives Streckmann, played by Joe Layton, a stern warning in the fourth scene.

In the middle of our set we had a section that could be removed to reveal a pool of water that acted as our spring for a harvest scene where the villagers come to take their meal by the spring.
